Abstract

BILKA, Dan. Assessment of Operation of a Brewery Malt House according to Government Order 406/2004 Coll. : Thesis. Ostrava : VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2017, 74 p. The thesis deals with the assessment of operation of the brewery malt house in Pivovar Jihlava company. The first chapter gives basic information from region of combustible dust explosions and highlights the accidents that occurred. The second chapter deals with legislation that is necessary to use in assessing the operation of a brewery malt house. The third chapter provides a description of selected brewery. The fourth chapter deals with the measurements on taken malt material samples. The risk analysis of selected brewery malt house is done in the fifth chapter. The sixth chapter deals with the design of technical and organizational measures against explosions. The measurement results which are subsequently converted to real conditions of the brewery malt house is summarized in the conclusion.
