The aim of the thesis is to analyse key factors which influence travellers who choose an accommodation, and then to suggest the typology of customers of the accommodation service Airbnb. The first part is devoted to the theoretical definition of customer segmentation based on specialized literature and internet sources. The third chapter deals with the characteristic of the accommodation service market and the presentation of the Airbnb concept. Research methodology defines the preparation and realization part of the analysis. Data was obtained by quantitative method through electronic questioning of users and non-users of Airbnb. Subsequently, a typology of customers of Airbnb was created and recommendations were proposed to improve Airbnb's services to attract more customers and gain confidence.
