Abstract
The diploma thesis „Energy mix and its economic evaluation in the Komořany heating plant“ deals with the economics of heat and electricity. It addresses possible future energy mix in the Komořany heating plant near Most and evaluates its economic operation. The diploma thesis describes the individual sources used for the production of heat and electricity and why their diversification is important. It also looks at external factors affecting the price of heat and electricity.
