Korozně elektrochemické vlastnosti magnetických materiálů typu Nd-Fe-B

Abstract

In master thesis are described characteristics and corrosion behaviour of NdFeB permanent magnets. Teoretical part of thesis is dealing about composition and structure of selected magnets, while the main attention is given to electrochemical properties and corrosion protection of these magnets. There are also described mechanical and magnetic properties and using of this material in service. Experimental part is focused on determining of electrochemical corrosion behaviour of selected surface-protected or unprotected magnets in some solutions characterizing some specific corrosion environment. Some samples was subjected to salt spray test. For comparison, the same tests were performed on samples of low carbon steel grade 11. The measured values were evaluated, processed into tables and graphically illustrated.
