Strategické plánování protipovodňových opatření ve světě s možností implementace v České republice

Abstract

The thesis aims to introduce strategic approaches in flood protection in selected countries having historical experience in flood risk management, their application and subsequent implementation for Czech Republic environment. This thesis is divided into theoretical-methodological part, which analyzes the strategic documents in the field of planning of flood control measures in China, Japan, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom and The United States of America. Application part is aimed to the possibility of implementation of flood control measures into the Czech Republic environment based on the local strategic approaches.
