Návrh a výroba rámu vozidla Formula Student

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design and manufacturing of a race car frame for the Formula Student competition, specifically the Vector 10 model developed by the Formula TU Ostrava team. The work addresses the analysis of competition rules and structural requirements, the design of a space frame with emphasis on torsional stiffness, weight, driver ergonomics, and manufacturability. The finite element method (FEM) was used in ANSYS software to perform structural simulations and optimize mechanical properties. The thesis also describes the frame production process, from 3D CAD modeling to welding of the final structure. The result is an optimized frame that meets competition standards while considering the technical, material, and personnel limitations of the student team.
