Hodnocení rizika dopravní nehodovosti v Česku

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the presentation of the possibilities of risk assessment of traffic accidents in the Czech Republic using the methods of patio-temporal visual exploratory analysis of data. First, the basic theoretical principles of the issue and a search of existing approaches to spate-temporal analysis of traffic accidents are introduced. Theoretical foundations also serve as a basis for analysis in the practical part of the work. Data are analyzed by selecting and linking appropriate techniques (visualization, display manipulation, data manipulation, querying and calculation, or clustering) and their tools (maps, graphs, tables, etc.). Three software are used to achieve the result: ArcGIS Pro (data preprocessing), V-Analytics (spatio-temporal clustering and exploration) and Tableau (exploration and presentation of analysis). The results are the proposed methods of visual exploration of data in terms of space, time and especially space-time, space-time clustering and categorization with respect to finding interesting patterns in traffic accident data. Finally, the suitability of the tools, software and the obtained results of the spatiotemporal analysis of the risk of traffic accidents as such is evaluated.
