Abstract

Bachelor thesis contains a summary of the basic properties of aluminum alloys, their basic classification and especially information about 3xxx series aluminum alloy, which is used to produce automotive parts and specific to the manufacture of automobile heat exchange system. There are mentioned its technological, mechanical and corrosion properties, including the manufacturing process and heat treatment. In the practical part of the work was carried out metallographic study and comparison of two alloys taken from automobile heat exchange system and from cast ingot produced in Al Invest Břidličná, a.s.
