Abstract

Andrés Jurado Guzmán: OFFICE BUILDING IN OSTRAVA. Diploma thesis project, Ostrava, VSB–Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Building Constructions, 87 pages. The main objective of this thesis is the preparation of project documentation in the pre-execution phase (design and preparation documentation) for the construction of an office building. The proposed building is designed to accommodate both small and large companies seeking to establish their headquarters or branch offices in Ostrava. The design focuses on creating modern office spaces that meet current standards of energy performance and sustainability. Special attention is given to daylight and sunlight analysis to optimize natural illumination and reduce energy consumption. The thesis includes: a full description of the building, technical reports, thermal assessments using TEPLO and ENERGIE software, complete sets of drawings and construction details, material specifications, and a structural assessment of the building.
