Analýza temného cestovního ruchu v České republice

Abstract

My thesis is focused on a new form of tourism – dark tourism, mainly in the Czech Republic. The aim of my thesis was to find out if the inhabitants of the Czech Republic know this way of travelling. Different places of dark tourism were analyzed and researched. I used questionnaire method to collect the data. The questionnaire was both on the internet and in schema_dspacedb. The results have shown that people do not know the word „dark tourism“, although they visit the places. However there is some interest in dark tourism, the word is unknown to schema_dspacedb. It has become a new trend of travelling. The potential of the development of the dark tourism is in the realization of the subject of certain places of dark tourism. The places should be advertised in a good way and the public should learn more about this term.
