Protipovodňová opatření na území města Hranice

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with flood control measures in the town of Hranice and its local parts. It explains what floods are, why they occur and especially how to defend against them. The following section includes a more detailed description of the three worst floods that have occurred in the town. Furthermore, the work describes the anti-flood measures that are located in Hranice now and were located there in the past. Finally, there are suggestions for possible measures that can be used for even better protection of the town, especially its local parts.
