Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is a description of HV circuit breakers and their state in-operation influence. I briefly described HV substations instrument equipement, focused especially on HV circuit breakers and their extinguishing agent. I described the possible ways of HV circuit breakers maintenance and SF6 HV circuit breakers diagnostics. I analyzed the diagnostic results after a fault and compared it with the results before the fault. For the preparation of this work I used the experience I have gained in the implementation of high diagnostic devices.
