Chování kyanidů přítomných ve vybraných průmyslových vodách

Abstract

This thesis concerns the optimalization of the degradation of cyanides, found in wastewaters from blast furnaces, using various chemical agents. It describes the issue of industrial wastewaters, possible water pollution in general as well as a pollution caused specifically by cyanides. It also deals with the presence of cyanides in industry, whether as a by-product of certain industrial branches or as a final product of industrial cyanides synthesis. The research presents other methods used to degrade cyanides in wastewaters. The experimental part is composed of laboratory measurements carried out on model and real water samples, using chemical agents, industrial sewage sludge and ferrates. The thesis ends with a comparison of results and suggestions for possible future advancements.
