Abstract

Bachelor thesis brings the characteristics of various types of disposable supplies, which are used in medical and social institutions (diapers, briefs, catheters, bowls, urinals, washers, etc.). It deals with the ways and possibilities of handling due to their biological and health risks (infectious agents), with major attention to devices that are in their decontamination and disinfection used. The text is also given insight into the legal aspects of the issues addressed in the context of alternative methods of eliminating this kind of waste recycling (maceration and crushing) devices.
