Abstract
The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to measure unsatisfactory lighting system for pedestrian crossing and its subsequent optimization proposal using LED luminaires according to ČSN P 35 0455, more precisely TKP regulation 15, which describes the procedure of correct design of pedestrian crossing light. In the theoretical part, the issue of transition lighting, parameters affecting pedestrian visibility and light sources used for pedestrian crossings are discussed.
The practical part includes measurement of real pedestrian crossing and subsequent calculations of horizontal and vertical illumination. Luminous imagery was also taken at the time of crossing the pedestrian across the transition based on the luminance analysis. Evaluation of luminance analysis was performed using the LMK LabSoft program. Thereafter, a measurement evaluation was carried out, from which the design of the transition optimization in Dialux Evo was developed.
