Analýza regionálních disparit v krajích České republiky

Abstract

The aim of bachelor thesis is in theoretical level bring closer and characterize theoretical approach of regional disparities and in practical level identify, analyse and compare regional disparities in the regions of the Czech Republic in select period. Bachelor thesis is divided into five chapters. After the first chapter, introduction, followed by the second which is characterizing theoretical approach of regional disparities and regional policy of the European Union. Second chapter is describing a definition and basic concept of regional disparities. There is mentioned the reason of creation, system resourses and types of regional disparities. Next are basic characteristics of regional disparities, concept of regional policy in the European Union, its goals, tools, programme and financial framework. Chapter is next describing indicators of regional disparities in the European Union and in the Czech Republic and evaluation methods of regional disparities. Third chapter is coming with simplified analysis of the regions in the Czech Republic. There is presenting territorial classification of the Czech Republic and situational analysis of all regions. Next also information about territorial determination of each region, its demography, economic environment, labour market, traffic and natural environment. Last part of this chapter comparing situation in the regions of the Czech Republic. In the fourth chapter is analysis of selected indicators of regional disparities. There is described basic analysis’s approach and then characterised selected methods of analysis. Essential part is about combination of two selected methods and in this part we are analysing and comparing selected indicators. Last part of the fourth chapter is presenting final evaluation and comparision of existing data.
