Abstract
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is analytical method of environmental impacts evaluate for products, services or technologies and it is considering as one of the most important tools of current environmental strategy. Using and work up of LCA is quite voluntary and makes possible complex evaluate energy consumption, raw materials, human health impacts and ecosystem condition in particular phases of product lifetime. Life cycle involves all parts of product and service lifetime and make possible.
Spaces found in this way that have negative influence on environment is possible to identify exactly and optionally remove or reduce. LCA method is internationally used and recognized.
It finds its use in all sphere of human activity, especially in comparison of products and services, planning processes in the field of environmental politics, creation of projects and programs in a number of economy branches etc.
Thesis is focused on ranking of standard tyre environmental impacts during whole life cycle, it means extraction of primary raw materials, producing tyres till treatment of tyres as a waste product. Special attention is applied just to comparing environmental impacts of material and energy treatment with waste tyre at the end of its life cycle. Thesis defines problematical places in tyre life cycle, individual kinds of pollutants rising from processes in life cycle and particular influence of these substances on environment. Study is elaborated according to international standards ISO series 14040.
