Abstract

The aim of this work is to experimentally determine the size and type of vibration frequencies of toroidal transformer at different ways of mounting. The theoretical part deals with general principles and characteristics of transformers, their operating conditions and production materials. We can also learn about specific shapes and materials for the production of transformer cores. The second part addresses the theoretical analysis defining the concept of vibration. Furthermore, this theoretical section describes the characteristics of such vibrations may occur, how it can be measured and what instruments are used to capture the measured signal. The experimental part focuses on the detection of vibration of the sample and consists of the preparation work, and ways of fixing the actual measurements. Measurements consisted of data acquisition, which was then necessary to work in the computer software. The final part is deals with evaluation of measured results.
