Rekultivační práce v okolí velkolomu Bílina a jejich role v krajině

Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis deals with activities of Bílina open pit colliery as wel as land reclamations in its environs. In this area, mining works have a long tradition, beginning in the 15th century. The landscape is severely affected by coal mining and this situation can be partly corrected in the form of reclamations and restorations. These measures are on a quite different level compared with the past. In future, restored localities should be utilized for silvicultural and agriculturtal purposes as well as for tourism (i.e. water areas).
