Abstract

This thesis is devoted to cyanides in industrial waste waters, to their toxicity, properties, methods of their degradation and the analytical determination. The thesis describes methods of treating industrial wastewater, both in general and on the specific example of the chosen company. The thesis also provides the description of specific methods, which could lead to degradation of cyanides, well-proven in real waters from the processing of tar.
