Abstract

My Bachelor thesis deals with proposals for the possibility of founding the Fučík tailings pond with overburden soils from the Bílina Mines. I deal with the history and geology of the territory and adjacent localities in the first part of the Bachelor thesis. I describe the history of the Ledvice Power Plant and the methods of floating ash to the Fučík tailings pond in the second part of the Bachelor thesis. The next part of the Bachelor thesis suggests the possibilities of foundation of the Fučík tailings pond and the necessary quantity of overburden soils. A brief technical - economic evaluation of the proposed variants follows.
