Abstract

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to propound and implement database application for retail firm, which occupies with purchasing merchandise from many suppliers and with selling to final consumer. As a plan for an application it is used software MS Access from Microsoft. It is designed for an administration of relation databases.

The application is a combination of evidential, ordering and payroll system. Evidential system is defined for recording data of employees and suppliers. Ordering system ensures an administration and making orders. Thanks to payroll system, an individual wages of employees are processed.

At the beginning it is important to examine all objects that make inevitable part of company system. Every object has its own table. It is made of columns and lines, which keep records of given objects. The whole application is constituted by many forms and reports. The functionality is secured with interconnection between individual forms, using maker or programming language Visual Basic for Application.
