Abstract
The main aim of diploma thesis is the design and assessment of anchored embedded wall on the section of highway D3 Čadca, Bukov – Svrčinovec. At the beginning of the thesis are more specified the characteristics of the given section, especially geological, hydrogeological and climatic conditions. Geodynamic phenomena and seismicity of the area are also included.
The thesis also describes force methods of design and assessment of frame structures. The next step is focused on the description of selected anchored embedded wall, which is located in difficult geological conditions. The description includes the geological conditions of the area and the construction and technological solution of the building, including photo documentation and geotechnical monitoring.
The practical part is focused on the static assessment of the wall on the D3 highway section. The assessment is carried out in the GEO5 program and the cross-sectional assesment in the FINE EC2 – Concrete program. To compare the result of internal forces and deformations a model was created also in Plaxis 2D.
