Abstract
This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the extinguishing capability
of powder extinguishing agents. The introductory section deals with the classification
of extinguishing powders and their using in fire-protection. Next section gives an overview
of current status in the evaluation of powder fire extinguishing capability in the Czech
Republic and in the world. In the final part, the evaluation of the test methods is done and the
test equipment is designed. This could be used for the evaluation of extinguishing capability
of powder extinguishing agents in the future.
