Abstract
The diploma thesis is aimed at assessing and evaluating financial performance of the selected company in engineering industry for the period 2010 – 2014. Necessary theoretical base for performing practical part is particularized in the theoretical part. The practical part deals with description of the analysed company and its financial performance is evaluated by using vertical-horizontal analysis, selected financial ratios, predicting bankruptcy and solvency models and pyramidal decomposition of the Economic Value Added indicator. Afterwards the selected results are compared to the industry. In the end the established results are evaluated.
