Sovy (Strigiformes) lidských sídel a jejich bioindikační hodnota

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zajímavým řádem ptáků – sovami (Strigiformes), který se stal v důsledku mnoha negativních faktorů jedním z nejohroženějších. V bakalářské práci popisuji obecnou charakteristiku sov, metody jejich studia a soužití s lidmi. Podrobněji se věnuji příčinám ohrožení sov a jejich ochraně. Práce je zaměřena na druhy vyskytující se na území České republiky, vetší pozornost je zaměřena na sovy lidských sídel. Cílem bakalářské práce je představit sovy jako významnou bioindikační skupinu živočichů, seznámit se s hlavními příčinami úbytku sov a možnostmi jejich ochrany.

Bachelor thesis deals with an interesting order of birds - owls (Strigiformes), which became one of the most endangered due to many negative factors. In the work I describe the general characteristics of owls, methods of study and coexistence with humans. In detail I present the causes of threats of owls and their protection. The work is focused on the species occurring in the territory of the Czech Republic, more attention is focused on those in human settlements. The aim of this paper is to present the owls as an important bioindication order, to introduce the main causes of owls’ loss and their protection possibilities.
