Zhodnocení nabídky služeb poskytovaných zařízeními pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc v krajích Moravy a Slezska

Abstract

This diploma thesis analyzes the offer of services provided by facilities for children requiring immediate assistance in the regions of Moravia and Silesia. In the first part of the thesis there are theoretically defined social policy and assistance and especially the social and legal protection of children. The work characterizes the bodies of social and legal protection, the measures they issue, financing, facilities and standards of social and legal protection. In the analytical part there is examined personnel and financial provision of services of inidividual facilities, as well as the number of children admitted and released from the facilities during five years. At the end of the thesis there is an evaluation of the offer of services for children in selected regions, especially the evaluation of capacity, availability, financing and use of services in the region. The work also concludes / refutes two research hypotheses, namely that the reason for the admission of a child to the facility is the workload of the relevant authorities and the economic situation of the family.
