Věra Holubová, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis is devoted to the assessment of physical security of a primary school with the aim to develop an innovative proposal for physical security of a selected primary school. The theoretical part summarizes the publication Manual for Safe Schools, which describes how to achieve safety for schools and the importance of the standard CSN 73 4400. A large part is a description of the building and an evaluation of the existing measures. This is followed by a risk assessment with risk identification and analysis according to the standard CSN 73 4400. The thesis concludes by proposing innovative physical security measures and quantifying the investment cost of the recommended measures.
