dc.description.abstractV současnosti vykazuje uplatnění dřeva ve stavebním průmyslu výrazně vzestupnou tendenci. Ta je podpořena mnohými pozitivy v návaznosti na požadované vlastnosti dřeva pro jeho využití jako konstrukčního materiálu, avšak i některými dalšími vlastnostmi a charakteristikami. Přesto, že je tento stavební materiál hořlavý, mohou dřevěné konstrukce mnohdy vykazovat vyšší požární odolnost než-li konstrukce ocelové. Článek představuje základní princip návrhu požární odolnosti dřevěných konstrukcí podle Eurokódu 5.cs
dc.description.abstract-enAt present, the use of timber in the building industry shows a markedly growing tendency. This is supported by many positives in connection with timber properties required for the use of timber as structural material, and also by some other properties and characteristics of it. In spite of the fact that this structural material is flammable, structural timber often shows higher fire resistance than structural steel. The article introduces the basic principle of fire resistance design for timber structures according to Eurocode 5.cs
