Audit bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci ve vybrané organizaci

Abstract

The aim of this master thesis was to evaluate how effectively the system of Health and Safety at Work works in these areas: Health and Safety at Work policy, accidental rate, audits, risk searching and evaluating and providing with the personal protective working aid in the selected company. For this purpose, the analysis of documents and the interview with the human resources officer were used. The master thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical side of Health and Safety at Work. The second part contains the characterization of the methodology, i.e. analysis of the qualitative data. In the third part, the inquiry was implemented which served as a basic for the last part, i.e. the evaluation of the result of the audit and the creation of possible suggestions. As the analysed data provided from audit showed, the company not only meets the requirements set by the law, but it also tries to implement the extra activities to increase the level of Health and Safety at Work. The opportunity for the company in gaining an advantage against other competitors and increasing the level of Health and Safety at Work so that it enables the comparison with the European Union’s members could pose the programme Safe Enterprise.
