Připravenost českého trhu práce na rozvoj digitalizace a Průmyslu 4.0

Abstract

This master thesis deals with the readiness of the Czech labour market for the advent of digitalization, robotization, automation and Industry 4.0. Firstly, it is described how the labour market works, what are its regularities and participants. Secondly, the different industrial revolutions are described. And thirdly, the Czech approach to the Industry 4.0 is then described and compared with selected countries. The practical part of this thesis is devoted to a concrete analysis of the Czech Republic’s readiness for the development of digitalization and Industry 4.0, for which the DESI index was used. The knowledge and level of foreign language skills of Czech citizens is also assessed. In the next part of this thesis, the current state of the Czech labour market is analysed, and the possible impacts of Industry 4.0 on the Czech labour market are also discussed. Finally, we give recommendations that the Czech government should follow to minimize the negative impacts of the implementation of Industry 4.0.
