Metodika tvorby povodňového plánu pro vodovody a kanalizace

Abstract

After analysing the problems associated with flooding, the concept of this master’s thesis concentrates on how to proceed with creating a flood plan for a company focusing on waterworks infrastructure. Based on studying flood plans of a diverse set of these companies, this thesis proposes a structure in accordance with legislative requirement, and at the same time takes into account the specific requirements of this key segment of services. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes and compares general findings from available resources and after an analysis of a particular set of waterworks infrastructure in relationship with flooding, the practical part of this thesis leads to a proposal of steps for selecting objects of interest and their integration into the content of the flood plan. The principles and recommendations for its creation are summarised in the conclusion of this work.
