Abstract
The thesis deals with the analysis of the competition of MND Drilling & Services before entering a new market. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part is defined marketing research,its definition and the process. I continued to focus on the competition, its types, competitive strategies and competitive medium. It is also included a description of the company, its point of business, history and profile. In the practical part, including economic data,are described competitive companies operating on the Polish market and are also outlined expected events. Last but not least,on the basis of the results of the analysis are proposed some recommendation for the company.
