Hodnotenie prístupového procesu kandidátskych a potenciálnych kandidátskych krajín do Európskej únie

Abstract

The thesis deals with the historical and political development of candidate and potential candidate countries. Candidate countries are Albania, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey, and potential countries are Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. It points to the continuing problems with which the Western Balkans are accompanied. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the historical development of individual countries. The second chapter deals specifically with the EU Enlargement Policy and describes at what stage of the accession process the countries are located. The last chapter, using macroeconomic indicators, analyzes the current economic situation in countries and assesses the impact of EU accession.
