Abstract

The main aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of phase transformation temperatures of steel. The theoretical part includes the characteristic of phase transformations in steel, ie. at what temperatures do they occur, which elements affect them, what is the significance of the phase transformation temperatures in steel casting or its heat treatment and in what ways these temperatures can be determined. The experimental part is focused on the determination of phase transformation temperatures of given steel grades (18CrNiMo7-6 and 20MnCr5) by thermodynamic calculation in CompuTherm software and the design of regression equations for the calculation of these temperatures.
