Zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti firmy podnikající ve slévárenském oboru

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti firmy podnikající ve slévárenském oboru. První část představuje teoreticko-metodologický základ, kde jsou objasněny základní pojmy související s problematikou a vybraná pojetí konkurenceschopnosti. V druhé části je získaný teoretický základ aplikován na konkrétní podnik. Zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti je provedeno prostřednictvím Pollakova modelu životaschopnosti podniku a Porterova modelu pěti konkurenčních sil. Pomocí SWOT analýzy je identifikováno vnitřní a vnější okolí podniku. Následně výkonnost firmy je zhodnocena prostřednictvím finanční analýzy. Na základě získaných výsledků jsou navrženy změny, které přispějí ke zlepšení konkurenceschopnosti hodnoceného podniku.

The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the company competitiveness enterprising in the foundry industry.The first part represents the theoretical-methodological basis where the basic concepts related to the issue and the concept of competitiveness are clarified. In the second part, an obtained theoretical background is applied to the particular company. Assessment of competitiveness is done through the Pollak´s model of viability and Porter´s five competitive forces model. With the help of SWOT analysis there is identified an internal and external surroundings of the company. Subsequently, the company's performance is evaluated through the financial analysis. On the basis of the obtained results, there are proposed some changes that will contribute to improve the competitiveness of the enterprise.
