Abstract
The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using alternative sources of energy as a power supply for mobile biomedical sensors with low power consumption. From the wide range of renewable sources, which are also briefly described, solar energy was chosen, and more specifically the photovoltaic effect for harvesting energy to supply the target device. For this purpose, the thesis adapts technique called „Energy Harvesting“, which creates desired small autonomous generator. In the work are described two methods of energy storage. The first way to keep energy is a direct conversion this means there is no accumulation of energy. In the second one there is a controlling circuit which manages charging of the capacitor. For the realization of the prototype were selected two chips that suit best for the criteria. The main advantage of both chips is the ability to start work from 0.25 V. In the main part, the work deals with the realization of the generator to power biotelemetry sensors. Both ways of storing energy are measured and compared. Created generator is suitable to use, even at low lighting.
