Vztah mezi peněžní zásobou a inflací

Abstract

Diplomová práce pojednává o penězích, kvantitativní teorii peněz a neutralitě peněz. Zkoumá vliv peněžní zásoby M1 na ekonomické ukazatele, jako je hrubý domácí produkt a míra inflace v pěti zemích, mezi které patří Spojené státy americké, Kanada, Nový Zéland, Indie a Turecko. Testování je prováděno na období od roku 1980 po rok 2013. Cílem práce je ověřit platnost teorie neutrality peněz a potvrdit, respektive vyvrátit kvantitativní teorii peněz ve vybraných zemích.

This thesis is about money, the quantity theory of money and the neutrality of money. It examines the impact of money supply M1 to economic indicators such as gross domestic product and inflation rate in five countries including United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, India and Turkey. Testing is carried out for the period from the year 1980 to the year 2013. The object of this thesis is to verify the validity of the neutrality of money and to confirm or refute the quantity theory of money in selected countries.
