Abstract
The subject of the thesis, "Power factor correction on the excavator KU800" is the replacement of the existing rotary static compensator for compensating device. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of compensation and the reasons why the offset. The second part will address how to replace the concrete above the compensation device.
