Rekultivační práce na Dole Bílina

Abstract

In this Bachelore thesis I have tried to prove that even a country that is devastated by mining of brown coal in quarry Bílina can be further used and functionally integrated into the surrounding landscape. First of all I mentioned about the first deposist of brown coal in Bílina, about the mining method and then about the actual history of lignite mining in quarry Bílina. Furthermore, due to quaary Bílina and the villages, that had to be either partially or completely demolished due to the progressive quarry Bílina. In the next part, I tried to explain the concept of the restoration and all parts the restoration divides into. Then I dealt with the expenses of the economic restoration work, then are already in progress and the future restorarion costs that are planned. In the last part I suggest, what restoration is suitable to choose and I give proposal for what the restoration areas could be used for.
