Abstract
The aim of this study is assess the effectiveness of different defibrillation pulses to a selected cardiac arrhythmia, a creation defibrillation program with the educational part of defibrillation. I focused on a wide spectrum of impulses, namely the standard sinusoidal, monophasic, biphasic and biphasic Zoll impulses.
The selected issue was processed in LabVIEW environment based on information obtained from the research part. The software application evaluates the success of defibrillation and gives the feedback for users after execution of defibrillation pulse.
One of the goals of the thesis is also investigation of the success of biphasic defibrillation by the latest Zoll impulse which is currently market leader. Educational part of the software is designed for students with medical specialization who can try to set parameters of defibrillation and its consecutive execution.
