Abstract

This works id directed to the research of possible development and on a content of hydrogen carbons in the Cretaceous and Paleogene sediments of the Outer Western Carphathians. Next part is objected on as short characterization of hydrogen carbons and connection to mountains environment. Next description of attempted locations and characterization of these are in consequences. Next other part describes the advance of accomplished analysis of purchased samples based on content of organic material in layers, the type of kerogen, thermal alteration of organic material, concentration of organic matter and mainly on the content of oils in rock. The evaluation of all executed analysis and final conclusions are ending.
