Odvodňovací štola pod Strahovským tunelem

Abstract

The Strahov tunnel is an important part of the internal city ring in Prague with high traffic volumes. Long-term restriction of traffic in this tunnel would significantly complicate the traffic situation in the capital. The original drainage of the Strahov tunnel ceased to fulfill its function. The construction of drainage tunnels, which creates a hydraulic fall and reduces the transport was selected as the best solution. This bachelor thesis deals with the history, implementation and benefit of this work.
