Bezpečnostní hodnocení fasádních izolantů v podmínkách požáru

Abstract

Thesis studies the fire safety of façade insulation systems with an emphasis on toxicity of gases evolved as a result of the insulation thermal degradation and burning. Introduction and theoretical part briefly covers the history and evolution of the use of façade insulation systems in the Czech Republic and covers the legislation and regulations related to fire safety. Thirteen insulation material samples were chosen based on varying composition and commercial demand. Toxicity of the evolved gases was determined using smoke chamber test coupled to FTIR. Ignition characteristics were further determined for all samples.
