Abstract
The Masters thesis consists of three chapters and its main objective is to create a map in a program called OCAD. The first chapter describes different kinds of thematic maps and the main rules of their creation. The main topic of the second chapter is the analysis of the thematic and topographic maps and the plotting of industrial zones in Ostrava. The third chapter contains the description of the OCAD program and its tools and the creation of a map. The main aim is to create a thematic map with digital technology based on given data and model.
