Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to make a complete project of a lightning protection system for a building of my choice, specifically a hotel with an attached restaurant. Firstly, I will design a lightning protection system for the building, then I will design a lightning protection system using HVI conductors. Following this I will compare both projects based on security, effectivity and economy side. After this, I will then design a lightning protection system for this building using software called DehnSupport. Using the program, I will check my project and if it’s executed correctly. Lastly, I will make a complete project documentation.
