Abstract
This thesis focuses on the comparison of the level of digital public administration in the Czech Republic and other Visegrad Group countries (Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary). The main objective is to evaluate the position of the Czech Republic within this group and to identify key differences and trends in the field of eGovernment. The theoretical part defines fundamental concepts related to public administration and its digitalization and introduces key eGovernment tools. The practical part analyzes selected indicators from international indices, namely the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) and the eGovernment Development Index (EGDI). The analysis applies comparative methods, data standardization using z-scores, and hierarchical cluster analysis based on Ward’s method. The results indicate that there are significant differences in the level of digitalization among Visegrad countries. While the Czech Republic performs above average in some areas, it lags behind in others. Based on the findings, recommendations for further development of digital public administration are proposed.
