Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to compare financial literacy across three generations of our society, X, Y and Z. Through the research which was conducted through a questionnaire survey from which it was possible to draw out the differences in the level of financial literacy. Furthermore, the perception of the importance of financial literacy today and which generation is most vulnerable to being lured into financial fraud. Whether more time should be devoted to this issue in the school environment and whether courses should be run by experts.
