Posouzení odolnosti RFID prvků technické ochrany zboží proti krádeži

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of technical protection of goods in the retail sector, focusing on the prevention of illegal activities and the protection of the offered assortment. The protection of goods is implemented using technology based on radio frequency identification (RFID). The first part of this thesis provides a thorough description of RFID technology, including its components and its use in both historical and contemporary contexts. Furthermore, a comparison is made between RFID-based protection and currently used technologies. The practical part includes an experimental verification of the reliability and resilience of RFID technology in a laboratory environment, followed by validation in the realistic settings of a department store. Methods of deliberate damage and covering of RFID tags were tested to identify potential system weaknesses.
