Materiály používané v zubním lékařství

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with materials used in dental medicine, its properties, structure and use. The theoretical part defines biomaterials and their general properties. The types of biomaterials (metals, polymers and ceramics), their properties and uses are also listed. The experimental part is then devoted to the observation of the structure and measurement of microhardness of dental crown samples by the Vickers method. The samples were prepared metallographically, followed by examination of their structure. The phases of the structure of the samples were distinguished on a scanning electron microscope, and the approximate chemical composition of the samples was determined by EDS analysis.
